We, as the Designer Interviews ("DI") had the distinct pleasure and opportunity to interview award-winning, most creative and innovative Li Jiuzhou ("LJ").
Li Jiuzhou is a Chinese designer. Li Jiuzhou majored in visual communication and advertising design as a student. Since my work, I have been groping deeply in design and making cross-border design. He believes that designers must stand in the front line with customers, provide more professional and better services and produce more valuable content that can impress consumers. He has many works in China. He also holds the position of visual director in many large enterprises. Rich and varied design styles are his characteristics. He can blend Chinese culture and fashion well.

Designer Interview of Li Jiuzhou:
DI: Could you please tell us more about your art and design background? What made you become an artist/designer? Have you always wanted to be a designer?
LJ : My name is Li Jiuzhou, I am a designer from China. I got a bachelor's degree from China Central Academy of Fine Arts and a master's degree from Communication University of China. I majored in visual communication and advertising design when I was a student. Since I started my work, I have been exploring the design and carrying out cross-border design. I not only require myself to specialize in graphic design composed of traditional font / layout / graphics, but also consider the development trend of the times. In my opinion, designers must stand on the front line with customers and provide more professional and high-quality services to produce more valuable content that can move consumers. My father made me have a great interest in art. My dream since childhood is to be engaged in art work like my father. I studied oil painting, sculpture, sketch and printmaking. After I really grow up, I like to combine art with design. I think design should serve the people，so that people can be happier in the process of using products through vision, touch and usage method.
DI: Can you tell us more about your company / design studio?
LJ : I have been the design director for more than ten years, with more than 200 project experience. At present, I set up my own design studio, dedicated to creating cultural design. My creative field includes VI / kV / information design / Web Design / photo album design / movie poster design / product design / clothing design / brand design, etc.
DI: What is "design" for you?
LJ : Design is to serve mankind after all. People-oriented design is a good design.
DI: What kinds of works do you like designing most?
LJ : I like original designs with native culture and emotion, because only such designs are truly plump.
DI: What is your most favorite design, could you please tell more about it?
