DI: Can you tell us more about your company / design studio?
RK : KLEMENCOV GROUP – is an independent, multidisciplinary award-winning visual design and conceptual art studio focusing on corporate branding, festival identities, contemporary interactive installations, exposition design, new media and three-dimensional spatial composition solutions. Led by creative professionals: Anatoly Klemencov, Roman Klemencov, Ilja Klemencov KLEMENCOV GROUP provides high quality innovative contemporary art & design solutions.
DI: What is "design" for you?
RK : DESIGN for me is creativity and innovation, good design could make world around us much more better. Before starting every design project for me its very important to identify design problem, get an inspiration, generate new great, innovative ideas and create unique, clean design solution.
DI: What kinds of works do you like designing most?
RK : Mostly our group designs corporate branding as well as branding for cities, festivals, events.
DI: What is your most favorite design, could you please tell more about it?
RK : Pininfarina studio designs, Alfa Romeo 6C 2300B Corto Spider
DI: What was the first thing you designed for a company?
RK : Branding for "Union of the Baltic Cities" - Art Festival (1999)
DI: What is your favorite material / platform / technology?
RK : Kinetic Art Objects, Musical Art Objects.
DI: When do you feel the most creative?
RK : Always feeling myself creative.
DI: Which aspects of a design do you focus more during designing?
RK : Aesthetics, Interaction between user & design, Function.
DI: What kind of emotions do you feel when you design?
RK : Creation process - the most emotional part of design.

DI: Where does the design inspiration for your works come from? How do you feed your creativity? What are your sources of inspirations?
RK : Music, Theather, Exhibitions.

RK : Design problem - Research - Main idea generation - Concept generation - Strategy development - Finalization

RK : Pencil, Spoon, Computer chair.

RK : Its always diferent.

DI: Which tools do you use during design? What is inside your toolbox? Such as software, application, hardware, books, sources of inspiration etc.?
RK : Pencil (sketching), Hammer (to destroy unsuccessful project), Adobe Master Suite, 3D Studio Max, etc.
DI: Designing can sometimes be a really time consuming task, how do you manage your time?
RK : Time is always limited.
