DI: Could you please tell us more about your art and design background? What made you become an artist/designer? Have you always wanted to be a designer?

KK : I have studied Industrial Design as a major in University. I was Fascinated with Cars, Airplanes, Robots and Sci-fi and I want to Design Robots or Airplanes.

DI: Can you tell us more about your company / design studio?

KK : I work as a Consultant and co-operate with other designers or Developers on a per project basis.

DI: What is "design" for you?

KK : Thinking & acting Differently.

DI: What kinds of works do you like designing most?

KK : I am professionally working in Technology field. The web, Mobile apps and Service Design are my main focus. but I am fascinated in any form of Art & Design. regardless.

DI: What is your most favorite design, could you please tell more about it?

KK : Telsa Model S

DI: What was the first thing you designed for a company?

KK : I have developed and Interactive Multimedia Campain back in my early days.

DI: What is your favorite material / platform / technology?

KK : Material: Wood. Platform: Web, Technology: Service Oriented Technologies.

DI: When do you feel the most creative?

KK : Usually When I thinker with the Idea and iterate a number of times.

DI: Which aspects of a design do you focus more during designing?

KK : All Most all Details as a Whole.

DI: What kind of emotions do you feel when you design?

KK : I feel I'm focused and I don't care about anything else.

DI: What kind of emotions do you feel when your designs are realized?

KK : Accomplishment.

DI: What makes a design successful?

KK : In my field of Expertise, It's all about user acceptance & retention.

DI: When judging a design as good or bad, which aspects do you consider first?

KK : I care about Experience Design as well as Technicality as an expert.

DI: From your point of view, what are the responsibilities of a designer for society and environment?

KK : To create a new form of Habit by encouraging the audience to think & act differently.

DI: How do you think the "design field" is evolving? What is the future of design?

KK : Design in evolving every day and the Technology would be more integrated with Design even in pure arts like paintings

DI: When was your last exhibition and where was it? And when do you want to hold your next exhibition?

KK : Como, Italy. And The Next one would be in early 2017.

DI: Where does the design inspiration for your works come from? How do you feed your creativity? What are your sources of inspirations?

KK : Like many Designer, I do Sketch out my Ideas and takes those to actions which I think can have a potential.

DI: How would you describe your design style? What made you explore more this style and what are the main characteristics of your style? What's your approach to design?

KK : Minimalistic. Creative and Simple. Simplicity avoids the confusions. I like the expressive way of communication.

DI: Where do you live? Do you feel the cultural heritage of your country affects your designs? What are the pros and cons during designing as a result of living in your country?

KK : I live in Sydney, Australia and we have an active community of designers and developers. Culturally people welcome any ideas which make the life easier but cons are the community has a conservative approach of problem-solving.

DI: How do you work with companies?

KK : As a consultor or Designer/Developer

DI: What are your suggestions to companies for working with a designer? How can companies select a good designer?

KK : In my opinion, you can find a good Designer based on the portfolio and similar experiences in the past according to your budget limits.

DI: Can you talk a little about your design process?

DI: Can you describe a day in your life?

KK : Learning, Developing, and {Ideation and Research}

DI: Could you please share some pearls of wisdom for young designers? What are your suggestions to young, up and coming designers?

KK : Get involved in your professional community and attend any professional networking events which is possible and also make sure you are recognised based on your portfolio and efforts.

DI: From your perspective, what would you say are some positives and negatives of being a designer?

KK : Being a creator is an amazing feeling. but it will lift your standard of living which might not be easy sometimes.

DI: What is your "golden rule" in design?

KK : Customer/Audience acceptance and Communications

DI: What skills are most important for a designer?

KK : Being Visionary, Risk Taker, Communicator and Skills they build through time.

DI: Which tools do you use during design? What is inside your toolbox? Such as software, application, hardware, books, sources of inspiration etc.?

KK : I am mainly using a code editor, a graphical Software like Sketch or Photoshop and Invision and I study about new Products developed every day in Platforms like Beta list nd Product hunt and Angelist

DI: Designing can sometimes be a really time consuming task, how do you manage your time?

KK : I try my best to do plan for a longer development time if possible.

DI: How long does it take to design an object from beginning to end?

KK : In my Field from 1 week to 12 weeks.

DI: What is the most frequently asked question to you, as a designer?

KK : About what were the Key technologies I used

DI: What was your most important job experience?

KK : As a Developer working on a Service-oriented project which now is in the market and being used by thousands

DI: Who are some of your clients?

KK : Startups, Technology Companies.

DI: What type of design work do you enjoy the most and why?

KK : Service Design, Due to its Scalability.

DI: What are your future plans? What is next for you?

KK : Introducing new Products and Services.

DI: Do you work as a team, or do you develop your designs yourself?

KK : Depends on the Project but I do both.

DI: Do you have any works-in-progress being designed that you would like to talk about?

KK : There are two Cloud-based Products and Mobile apps which would be introduced in 2017
