DI: Could you please tell us more about your art and design background? What made you become an artist/designer? Have you always wanted to be a designer?
GG : Yes, I have always been interested in art, and the intense attention to detail and interest in it led me to architecture and executive detailing, and for this reason, I chose to study architecture and then industrial design.
DI: Can you tell us more about your company / design studio?
GG : At the moment وmacral.chairs design studio is a place to enjoy design and details, and some products are completed in the design process based on process art.
DI: What is "design" for you?
GG : Design means creativity and details
DI: What kinds of works do you like designing most?
GG : The design of minimal and practical works.
DI: What is your most favorite design, could you please tell more about it?
GG : In general, it includes simplicity and complexity.My favorite designs from architecture to product are those that are simple yet complex.
DI: What was the first thing you designed for a company?
GG : Conceptual design for a peace center in tehran.
DI: What is your favorite material / platform / technology?
GG : My favorite material in architecture is brick and I am very interested in concrete in the product.
DI: When do you feel the most creative?
GG : Times that are affected from suffering to happiness and times that I need release.
DI: Which aspects of a design do you focus more during designing?
GG : Maybe it's a selfish answer, but enjoying the design is my priority.Because I believe this feeling is transferred in the product or architecture to peaple.
DI: What kind of emotions do you feel when you design?
GG : As I said before, the feeling of release. and then the burst of ideas
DI: What kind of emotions do you feel when your designs are realized?
GG : It is definitely a motivation to continue and try harder
DI: What makes a design successful?
GG : Design based on human laws and creative design
DI: When judging a design as good or bad, which aspects do you consider first?
GG : In my opinion, the purpose of the design should be considered first. Why is a bad design considered bad? Does it have any strengths?
DI: From your point of view, what are the responsibilities of a designer for society and environment?
GG : The designer must consider the environmental and social conditions in the beginning to present an ethical plan at the end
DI: How do you think the "design field" is evolving? What is the future of design?
GG : Currently, the future of design is very complex, with the progress of humanity, some of the human aspects have been reduced, but it can be a breakthrough if it is used correctly.
DI: When was your last exhibition and where was it? And when do you want to hold your next exhibition?
GG : Last year, we held a public exhibition of the studio's products, and in that open concept collection, the intended audience was collected in the form of videos and photos in the future exhibition, I don't know yet.
DI: Where does the design inspiration for your works come from? How do you feed your creativity? What are your sources of inspirations?
GG : My source of inspiration has always been nature, and for anyone who sees the details, nature is our great teacher
DI: How would you describe your design style? What made you explore more this style and what are the main characteristics of your style? What's your approach to design?
GG : I am very interested in process art and I believe that sometimes the design itself can complete itself if we let it go, for example, new materials always generate ideas by themselves, and this time I am very attractive.
DI: Where do you live? Do you feel the cultural heritage of your country affects your designs? What are the pros and cons during designing as a result of living in your country?
GG : IRAN .It is effective for artists to do different works with their community and culture, because art that is not based on the culture of that region is separated
DI: How do you work with companies?
GG : According to their request, we undertake from the idea to the executive design
DI: What are your suggestions to companies for working with a designer? How can companies select a good designer?
GG : Companies should always prioritize and first know their needs well, such as those who have the right body sizes to buy clothes.A good designer is a fit and diligent designer
DI: Can you talk a little about your design process?
GG : First, the demands and needs of the design are raised, the background and culture are identified, and ideation begins as a brainstorm, ideas expand, small models are formed, and details begin.Testing different materials has always been part of the job
DI: What are 5 of your favorite design items at home?
GG : I did not understand the question
DI: Can you describe a day in your life?
GG : After the morning and the breakfast ceremony, I read a little and start my day with a book. After that, I go to the studio and start testing the materials on the works. After Tahir, I come home and after dinner we start watching series or moviesand we Talk about daily experiences
DI: Could you please share some pearls of wisdom for young designers? What are your suggestions to young, up and coming designers?
GG : Be brave for new things that no one has done before
DI: From your perspective, what would you say are some positives and negatives of being a designer?
GG : The designer always has a sense of being alive and can get this sense of being alive from a stubborn employer
DI: What is your "golden rule" in design?
GG : Sometimes put yourself in the place of the audience of your plan
DI: What skills are most important for a designer?
GG : Everything, even cinema, is obligatory for a designer
DI: Which tools do you use during design? What is inside your toolbox? Such as software, application, hardware, books, sources of inspiration etc.?
GG : Seeing the works of artists is my flourishing tool, from painters and sculptors, philosophers and athletes
DI: Designing can sometimes be a really time consuming task, how do you manage your time?
GG : If there is interest, being time-consuming is a part of the process and it manages the time itself because you get fed
DI: How long does it take to design an object from beginning to end?
GG : It depends on your timing and the material you use
DI: What is the most frequently asked question to you, as a designer?
GG : First, income is asked. Few people ask about design perspectives, but experts ask more about details
DI: What was your most important job experience?
GG : Working with concrete and making molds was a wonderful experience for me

GG : Designing the details and implementing it is challenging
DI: What are your future plans? What is next for you?
GG : Using new materials in new places

GG : yes.I always prefer team work

GG : Yes, we are currently working on an interior accessory that has unique features with light and recyclable materials.
