DI: Which aspects of a design do you focus more during designing?

SAM : Environmentally friendly, sustainability, convenience and aesthetic

DI: From your point of view, what are the responsibilities of a designer for society and environment?

SAM : Nowadays, the most challenges of our societies are energy crisis and environmental pollution so it is a responsibility of every designer to manage their design with considering to Eco-friendly performances as an initial design.

DI: Can you talk a little about your design process?

SAM : I always try to follow the quote of Malcolm Wells (Pioneer ecofriendly architect) “...A building should consume its own waste, maintain itself, match nature's pace, provide wildlife habitat, moderate climate and weather and be beautiful. That's a series of pass/fail evaluation criteria...." and the other one is “I woke up one day to the fact that the earth's surface was made for living plants, not industrial plants,” so I’m trying to design more eco-friendly products as well as architectural spaces.

DI: What are your future plans? What is next for you?

SAM : I would like to be an international architect .One of my goals is designing and realizing of the earth sheltered village which is completely Zero-point energy and one of my dreams is winning The Pritzker Architecture Prize.
