DI: Could you please tell us more about your art and design background? What made you become an artist/designer? Have you always wanted to be a designer?

JZC : For more than a decade in the context of traditional Chinese culture, and receiving contemporary international trends in design information, the collision between the two has led us to multidimensional thinking about design. We have been imagining something beautiful. How to turn illusions into reality. This is our biggest motivation for becoming a designer.

DI: Can you tell us more about your company / design studio?

JZC : Creation is to make people live more freely.They adhering to the design concept of "creation for people, creation after people" , is committed to people-oriented space customization, and strives for building a spatial planning brand with philosophy.

DI: What is "design" for you?

JZC : Creation is to make people live more freely.Wusun Space, adhering to the design concept of "creation for people, creation after people" , is committed to people-oriented space customization, and strives for building a spatial planning brand with philosophy.

DI: When do you feel the most creative?

JZC : When a space makes most people feel that there is no way to break through, we use our own ideas to subvert this situation. We think this is the most creative design.

DI: Which aspects of a design do you focus more during designing?

JZC : The conflict between aesthetics and practical functions.

DI: From your point of view, what are the responsibilities of a designer for society and environment?

JZC : It is necessary to avoid meaningless waste of resources, create objects or spaces that can change or improve the status quo, and let everyone enjoy the fun and thoughts of design from spiritual, visual, and experience aspects.

DI: Where does the design inspiration for your works come from? How do you feed your creativity? What are your sources of inspirations?

JZC : Inspiration comes mainly from the meticulous observation and experience of life. All natural things have the rationality of its existence, and it has its beauty, trying to discover new inspiration from different perspectives.

DI: What type of design work do you enjoy the most and why?

JZC : We like to transform the interior space of historic buildings and design a number of diversified objects outside of space. Because history is time, and time is the best designer, many objects can only be created by time. It is very challenging for time to continue the journey of new life. The diversified objects outside the design space are In order to satisfy our own curiosity, we want to try more possibilities in different fields.

DI: Do you work as a team, or do you develop your designs yourself?

JZC : We have a clear team with a clear division of labor. Everyone has their own special skills and is an indispensable member.
