We, as the Designer Interviews ("DI") had the distinct pleasure and opportunity to interview award-winning, most creative and innovative President Zbynek Suba ("PZS").
I am a passionate young entrepreneur who decided to end my Architect career. For many years I´ve studied Architecture. In my free time, I do sports, read books a lot, I would like to marry and have a big family. I´ve traveled the USA and Europe. Now I have decided to start a business career to be beneficial to the whole of society. I perceive myself as a stoic.

Designer Interview of President Zbynek Suba:
DI: Could you please tell us more about your art and design background? What made you become an artist/designer? Have you always wanted to be a designer?
PZS : I’ve studied Architecture at the university where my design background had started. I always wanted to be an entrepreneur but at the same time, I had a passion for art.
DI: Can you tell us more about your company / design studio?
PZS : We are a small company, which employs mainly family and friends from our small town. Our main goal right now is to make ski skating the next big thing among winter sports. Snowfeet are mostly made locally in the Czech Republic, a country with a long tradition of manufacturing one of the best skis in the world.
DI: What kinds of works do you like designing most?
PZS : Skis and Snowfeet of course.
DI: What was the first thing you designed for a company?
PZS : The first version of Snowfeet.
DI: When do you feel the most creative?
PZS : In nature.
DI: Which aspects of a design do you focus more during designing?
PZS : To be simple, useful, beneficial and good-looking.
DI: What kind of emotions do you feel when you design?
PZS : Joy and freedom.
DI: From your point of view, what are the responsibilities of a designer for society and environment?
PZS : To be beneficial for society and the environment.
DI: When was your last exhibition and where was it? And when do you want to hold your next exhibition?
PZS : Outdoor Retailer Winter Show exhibition in Denver, USA and ISPO Munich.
DI: What is your "golden rule" in design?
PZS : "Simplicity is the ultimate sophistication." Leonardo da Vinci
DI: Who are some of your clients?
PZS : Mostly people loving winter sports and looking for a new way of fun and freedom on the snow while skiing.
DI: Do you work as a team, or do you develop your designs yourself?
PZS : We work mostly as a team in order to be more objective.
