DI: Could you please tell us more about your art and design background? What made you become an artist/designer? Have you always wanted to be a designer?

ED : Yes , it was my dream to be a designer .

DI: Can you tell us more about your company / design studio?

ED : Emara designes established in 2012 .We're well equipped to handle today's planning and design challenges, whether the project is interior design , exterior design or urban design . It's our duty as a pioneering architecture firm to deliver true, value-based engineering solutions to meet any design challenge, through skilled planning and tested experience.our primary objective is to deliver quality services on-time and on-budget for every assignment, regardless of size, scope or location.

DI: What is "design" for you?

ED : Finding a formulation of the vacuum provides convenience to its users, it is necessary to employ materials and elements available for integrated vacuum so that it can continue for long periods without the need to change, and find innovative solutions to complex problems in a vacuum commensurate with the nature of his client's psychological, emotional, and commensurate with the vacuum .

DI: What kinds of works do you like designing most?

ED : I like all design kinds ,architecture , interior , exterior or urban design . Ever kind of design had its own beauty and challenge , and as a designer i love to try and design all types .

DI: What is your most favorite design, could you please tell more about it?

ED : The MERCEDES BENZ exterior building is one of my favorite designs ever . It was in Saudi Arabia , it was the result of a simple shape that was best feature the functional aspects of the program .

DI: What was the first thing you designed for a company?

ED : It was a Hotel in Saudi Arabia .

DI: What is your favorite material / platform / technology?

ED : Materials are the soul of the place , its what makes the design delicate and beautiful and for me , there is no specific material that i love the most ,actually i prefer using materials that reflect the design in an ideal way .

DI: When do you feel the most creative?

ED : When i got a great concept for the design i am working on .

DI: Which aspects of a design do you focus more during designing?

ED : The concept of the design , because all the design depended on this step , if the concept is creative , all the project will be strong and unique .

DI: What kind of emotions do you feel when you design?

ED : I feel that designing is my passion not my work . I become very excited and want to make a creative design in a beautiful and elegant way .

DI: What kind of emotions do you feel when your designs are realized?

ED : i become so proud and happy of my designs .

DI: What makes a design successful?

ED : Finding a formulation of the vacuum provides convenience to its users, it is necessary to employ materials and elements available for integrated vacuum that can continue for long periods without the need to change , and find innovative solutions to complex problems . The design also have to be Fits the client's psychological and emotional nature and also fits the vacuum .

DI: When judging a design as good or bad, which aspects do you consider first?

ED : First ,i search about the project function and why this project is made for , is this project is suitable for its users ? is this project is

DI: From your point of view, what are the responsibilities of a designer for society and environment?

ED : It's our duty to deliver true, value-based engineering solutions to meet any design challenge, through skilled planning and tested experience.

DI: When was your last exhibition and where was it? And when do you want to hold your next exhibition?

ED : It was in The Design Show ,Cairo/Egypt .

DI: Where does the design inspiration for your works come from? How do you feed your creativity? What are your sources of inspirations?

ED : Inspiration is a finicky concept. Sometimes all you have to do is listen to one specific song and you’re in the work zone. Other times, the seemingly most random things tend to inspire our work.

DI: Where do you live? Do you feel the cultural heritage of your country affects your designs? What are the pros and cons during designing as a result of living in your country?

ED : I live in EGYPT , and of course it affect my designs .

DI: Can you talk a little about your design process?

ED : Finding a formulation of the vacuum provides convenience to its users , it is necessary to employ materials and elements available for integrated vacuum , that can continue for long periods without the need to change and find innovative solutions .

DI: Could you please share some pearls of wisdom for young designers? What are your suggestions to young, up and coming designers?

ED : okay , i just can tell them the wisdom of "Don't Work Hard , Work Smart " . And they have to search inside themselves on what they want and search over and over to get their own inspiration .

DI: From your perspective, what would you say are some positives and negatives of being a designer?

ED : Positives are you feel that design is not your work its a passion , you feel that you really affect in peoples life and help them to live better .

DI: What is your "golden rule" in design?

ED : Simplicity is the beauty kingdom key .

DI: What skills are most important for a designer?

ED : Designer have to creative , improve himself , think in different ways ,and think out of the box.

DI: How long does it take to design an object from beginning to end?

ED : Its about one month .

DI: What is the most frequently asked question to you, as a designer?

ED : From where did you get your own inspiration and how did you search for your designs concepts .

DI: What are your future plans? What is next for you?

ED : My future plans are to work as an international architect .

DI: Do you work as a team, or do you develop your designs yourself?

ED : No , i work as a team and i really love to be in a teamwork .
