DI: Could you please tell us more about your art and design background? What made you become an artist/designer? Have you always wanted to be a designer?

NA : design for me is a passion, will bring happiness to my life when design a building will bring happiness to others i always want to be an Architect Architectural is the live music on this life , you can hear it and feel it in your

DI: Can you tell us more about your company / design studio?

NA : Ammache Architects combine distinction in design with an intuitive understanding of environmental, client and business needs. This approach creates buildings of beauty, quality and functionality that are sustainable within a highly competitive property market. All projects encompass Ammache’s philosophy of “understanding society’s fundamental physical and psychological needs” – an insight that focuses on achieving synchronicity between structure and nature. Ammache Architects have earned a reputation for excellence within the challenging Australian geographic and regulatory setting. The firm’s work to date is characterised by an impressive array of projects – including multi-unit residential developments, high-rise and commercial building – ranging up to AU $150 million.

DI: What is "design" for you?

NA : design to me is a gift MUST be used to bring happiness by designing building will bring good energy, good memories and healthy life

DI: What kinds of works do you like designing most?

NA : all type of buildings

DI: What is your most favorite design, could you please tell more about it?

NA : my ambition will to achieve good design will always shift this question to the future

NA : natural timber, concrete

NA : when i achieve the design results

NA : functionality

NA : understanding of humanity needs and client brief

DI: When judging a design as good or bad, which aspects do you consider first?

NA : floor plan layout functions

DI: From your point of view, what are the responsibilities of a designer for society and environment?

NA : is to design very safe and livable building that bring happiness to people

DI: How do you think the "design field" is evolving? What is the future of design?

NA : its challenging market, its based on client quality, people now more educated about building market the future of design will be more challenging

DI: When was your last exhibition and where was it? And when do you want to hold your next exhibition?

NA : we done do exhibitions

DI: Where does the design inspiration for your works come from? How do you feed your creativity? What are your sources of inspirations?

NA : my design inspiration is people i feed me creativity by understanding people mentality the sources of my inspiration is my vision

DI: How would you describe your design style? What made you explore more this style and what are the main characteristics of your style? What's your approach to design?

NA : to fit with the current job brief and location and neighborhood character

DI: Where do you live? Do you feel the cultural heritage of your country affects your designs? What are the pros and cons during designing as a result of living in your country?

NA : will not affect my design, it will amend my design thought to respect the heritage cultural and protected for the next era

DI: How do you work with companies?

NA : will fit with the rules

DI: What are your suggestions to companies for working with a designer? How can companies select a good designer?

NA : my recommendation is to look at the functional layout plan that will last for ages, the outside MUST reflect the inside do not chase big architect for their names only, chase an architect for their vision

DI: Can you talk a little about your design process?

NA : will collect relevant information site analysis, site visits, neighborhood character, heritage & culture considering all the above against client brief and goals

DI: What are 5 of your favorite design items at home?

NA : materials, windows, functional layout, sustainability

DI: Can you describe a day in your life?

NA : the day the i became an architect

DI: Could you please share some pearls of wisdom for young designers? What are your suggestions to young, up and coming designers?

NA : Architectural is the live music on this life , you can hear it and feel it in your eyes understand people and their vision

DI: From your perspective, what would you say are some positives and negatives of being a designer?

NA : the positives is you have full vision to design negatives id to some how been restricted by local council

DI: What is your "golden rule" in design?

NA : to achieve the design outcome with quality design

DI: Which tools do you use during design? What is inside your toolbox? Such as software, application, hardware, books, sources of inspiration etc.?

NA : hand sketches, auto cad and revit

DI: Designing can sometimes be a really time consuming task, how do you manage your time?

NA : with making the right decision on design approach

DI: How long does it take to design an object from beginning to end?

NA : one week for a concept

NA : to be famous architects internationally

NA : we work as a team, some time i finish the design and consult with my team for comments

NA : we have few but nothing major
