We, as the Designer Interviews ("DI") had the distinct pleasure and opportunity to interview award-winning, most creative and innovative Hao-Yun, Chi and Hsing-Hung, Chen ("HCAHC").
Hao-Yun Chi is Ph.D. Candidate from NTUST in Taiwan. He is also young emerging architectural and interior designer. His ideas about space are unique. Besides being good at planning space functions, moving lines, and space sense, he is also good at creating artistic aesthetics and can also accurately master them. In terms of space experience, users can feel the designer's requirements for design details. He can properly communicate with customers, convert needs into facts, and try our best to meet expectations in limited space, time, technology, technology, and material science. DI: Could you please tell us more about your art and design background? What made you become an artist/designer? Have you always wanted to be a designer?
HCAHC : We are studying for a Ph.D. in Architecture at the National Taiwan University of Science and Technology. We have nearly ten years of experience in the architectural and interior design industry. Yes, for the profession of designers, it is our mission to bring people happiness and emotion.
DI: Can you tell us more about your company / design studio?
HCAHC : Our team is located in Taipei, Taiwan, and is constantly working to create the perfect value and feeling for all kinds of spaces.
DI: What is "design" for you?
HCAHC : Our design introduces unique natural resources and rich local culture and uses natural elements as the main elements of the space. Make the design has individual soul.
DI: What kinds of works do you like designing most?
HCAHC : A soulful design that brings happiness to people.
DI: What is your most favorite design, could you please tell more about it?
HCAHC : Can make the user feel happiness, love, shake the heart, and bring us a sense of achievement.
DI: What was the first thing you designed for a company?
HCAHC : I remember the interior design of a small house full of curved shapes.

HCAHC : The platform is how to make the unique natural resources set off the indoor space soul.
DI: When do you feel the most creative?
HCAHC : Creativity and inspiration are a deep commitment to life. Creativity does not appear at a specific time, but cannot be stopped when it comes.

HCAHC : The first point is aesthetics, followed by practicality, ease of use, and what kind of feeling it will bring to the user.
DI: From your point of view, what are the responsibilities of a designer for society and environment?

DI: Where does the design inspiration for your works come from? How do you feed your creativity? What are your sources of inspirations?
HCAHC : Inspired by my life experience and professional knowledge
DI: How would you describe your design style? What made you explore more this style and what are the main characteristics of your style? What's your approach to design?
HCAHC : My design style is mainly based on local history, natural environment, and dialogue with nature and humanity.
DI: Where do you live? Do you feel the cultural heritage of your country affects your designs? What are the pros and cons during designing as a result of living in your country?
HCAHC : Taiwan. Sure. To have such rich resources and a rich history in a small land is the basis for my creativity.
DI: How do you work with companies?
HCAHC : The company gives me a lot of freedom to design so that my work can have a good play.
DI: What are your suggestions to companies for working with a designer? How can companies select a good designer?
HCAHC : Need to give designers the freedom to work, if too restrictive will limit the development of the work
DI: Can you talk a little about your design process?
HCAHC : First, analyze the regional history and culture, and establish a series of spatial vocabulary and elements. Gradually systematically organize the environment and architectural appearance elements and interactively find a series of proper design contexts under the established conditions.
