We, as the Designer Interviews ("DI") had the distinct pleasure and opportunity to interview award-winning, most creative and innovative Yu-Hsiang, Su ("YS").
I care about the use of local culture and materials in my designs, and not every project has a high budget for implementation. I aim to incorporate a diverse range of materials while preserving the unique characteristics of each project, and to help clients save costs without compromising the quality of the design.

Designer Interview of Yu-Hsiang, Su:
DI: Can you tell us more about your company / design studio?
YS : The term "Re" represents "regeneration," which signifies creating a completely new spatial definition through the process of renovating a building. This kind of regeneration is not just limited to surface-level decoration but delves deep into the structure and texture of the building itself, reimagining and presenting it anew. This approach not only enhances the aesthetic value of the building but also aligns it with the lifestyle needs of modern-day people. During the regeneration process, architects consider the contemporary lifestyle and habits of people and incorporate them into the design of the building, creating a unique living space. This space is not just a house but a place that offers residents an excellent living experience. Therefore, the spatial definition represented by "Re" includes not only the form and structure of the building but also the living experience and feelings of the inhabitants. Only then can such a space truly become an ideal home.
