Gurleva Marína the interior artist, the real master of the business who creates interiors just as the artist writes a cloth. Each work is filled with internal energy and the hidden sense. DI: Could you please tell us more about your art and design background? What made you become an artist/designer? Have you always wanted to be a designer?

GM : I studied 1996-2000 in the Chelyabinsk humanitarian intstitut faculty of interior design. I still the child liked to draw and I dreamed to become an artist

DI: Can you tell us more about your company / design studio?

GM : I work as the interior designer more than 15 years, more than 300 objects of inhabited and public interiors in the city of Chelyabinsk and Chelyabinsk region are during this time incarnate

DI: What is "design" for you?

GM : For me design it everything that surrounds us, this my hobby and work

DI: What kinds of works do you like designing most?

GM : Any object on the is interesting

DI: What is your most favorite design, could you please tell more about it?

GM : Development of the concept

DI: What was the first thing you designed for a company?

GM : Office for the Customer of 2000.

DI: What is your favorite material / platform / technology?

GM : Materials and technology

DI: When do you feel the most creative?

GM : When it is chosen subjects for future design

DI: Which aspects of a design do you focus more during designing?

GM : It is deep study of the color and style scheme of the recreated space, careful selection of accessories, furniture, detailed study of an interior

DI: What kind of emotions do you feel when you design?

GM : Pleasure from work process

DI: What kind of emotions do you feel when your designs are realized?

GM : I am very glad mutual understanding with the Customer

DI: What makes a design successful?

GM : Work of professionals

DI: When judging a design as good or bad, which aspects do you consider first?

GM : Esthetic function

DI: From your point of view, what are the responsibilities of a designer for society and environment?

GM : Duty of the designer to develop the project in compliance in the existing norms and rules

DI: How do you think the "design field" is evolving? What is the future of design?

GM : The future of design in unity of art, design and invention

DI: When was your last exhibition and where was it? And when do you want to hold your next exhibition?

DI: Where does the design inspiration for your works come from? How do you feed your creativity? What are your sources of inspirations?

GM : Travel, exhibitions, environment, works of other figures, the works

DI: What are your suggestions to companies for working with a designer? How can companies select a good designer?

GM : By results of its previous works

GM : Interaction with the Customer, search of a subject, work with contractors

GM : Understanding of desire of the Customer, zoning, planning, style choice, design

DI: Can you describe a day in your life?

GM : Work on projects, meetings with Customers, communication with colleagues, with suppliers

GM : Creative search and continuous self-improvement
