We, as the Designer Interviews ("DI") had the distinct pleasure and opportunity to interview award-winning, most creative and innovative Lampart Lighting Solutions ("LLS").

Lampart Company started production in 1990 in lighting industry and it has been steadily improving its competitive power for the last years with its professional approach and high performance in production , insistently pursuing the principle of customer satisfaction without compromising in quality. Having extended its production and design team by 2006, consisting of experienced architects, and engineers, the company aims to achieve user-oriented original design in products as well as high – quality in production in interior and exterior lighting.

Designer Interview of Lampart Lighting Solutions:

DI: Could you please tell us more about your art and design background? What made you become an artist/designer? Have you always wanted to be a designer?

LLS : From my childhood I wanted always being someone different and my father was the biggest influence because he is working in lighting production that made me a designer in lighting sector.

DI: Can you tell us more about your company / design studio?

LLS : As a family of Lampart Lighting Solutions since 1990, we are manufacturing and designing the lighting products for projects in Turkey and as many as countries of the world.

DI: What is "design" for you?

LLS : For me, to design unique and usable products for the people that who wants to be lighted :)

DI: What kinds of works do you like designing most?

LLS : Decorative Lightings

DI: What was the first thing you designed for a company?

LLS : I designed a desk lamp for the first time in my university years for Lampart Ligting Solutions and with this design, I won a science award at my university. This success increased my designing interest more and more.

DI: What is your favorite material / platform / technology?

LLS : Products together with handmade metal and wood are always my first choice.

DI: What kind of emotions do you feel when you design?

LLS : I always get the feel that when any design emerges, it is a different feeling to accomplish something and to layer something.

DI: What makes a design successful?

LLS : To meet people's needs and giving unique visual for ordinary stuffs.

DI: When judging a design as good or bad, which aspects do you consider first?

LLS : The tastes are always different. So, for me, there is never bad design on the contrary there is bad workmanship.

DI: What is the most frequently asked question to you, as a designer?

LLS : ''Which do you think is better?''

DI: Who are some of your clients?

LLS : Everyone who wants to be ''en''lightened.
